#250 Dr Ro Hill | Pam Schultz
Oil on canvas
Height: 76cm. Width: 102cm.
The hard-edged and wired office is juxtaposed with the soft organic environment. The two environments illustrates Ro’s world. Ro is the champion advocate for collaborative research with Indigenous People in North Queensland. Ro is the Principal Research Scientist at CSIRO and an adjunct Associate Professor at James Cook University.
Through my portrait series of conservation ecologists, I aim to increase advocacy and bring attention to their ongoing work and the contribution they have made during their lives. I choose only those people who have contributed countless volunteer hours to the natural environment.
