A lone tree leans towards the horizon in anticipation of the coming sunrise whilst a gentle breeze sways the tree top and ruffles the water. A long exposure was used to smooth the water to evoke the sense of serenity I felt being in this beautiful place.
Nikon D800 with AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 G ED lens at 56mm, ISO 50, 30 seconds and f/16. Lens fitted with polariser and 6 stop neutral density filters. Camera mounted on tripod with cable release. Raw image processed in Lightroom with local tonal adjustments, minor colour temperature changes and cropping.
