I use my artwork to gently agitate and advocate for the environment I live in (Mary River, Cooloola National Park and Wallum) using strong drawing skills and very time consuming, controlled, deliberate and mindful processes, from the integrity of making my own botanical inks to the final mark making.
I aim to raise the viewers’ attention to these small pockets of fragile Wallum and their increasingly threatened environments due to over development. Their future is up to everyone. I use botanical inks I make from trees mostly on my property.
