Clay and Glazes
Height: 24cm. Width: 26cm.
Shedding bark, ribbons of colour. Rock formations separated over time stay huddled together. Water and sand pummel and polish. Foundations of earth, remnants of the past. Layers of generations speak. Evolving land echoes natures beauty. All this I absorb, then imagine for my hands to create.
The passion of working with clay involves the challenge of creating something from the earth. My senses receive from the land and all that lives and grows from it. The ultimate goal is to ‘bring clay to life’ and for my work to be ‘a feast for senses.
