The Dreamers merges ten migrant stories, highlighting their struggles and contributions to Australia's culture. Eucalyptus leaves symbolize their dreams and sacrifices, while gumnuts represent the elusive Australian dream. It represents the great efforts that some go to, to achieve a status that others take for granted.
Watercolour has been my passion for 12 years. Nature, literature, personal stories and social issues are some of my inspirations in my craft. I draw ideas from symbolisms and meanings behind natural elements when creating surreal compositions. I believe that these meanings forms a deeper connection between my work and myself.
