The Baker's Daughter is one of a series of portraits by Rikki Fisher in the tradition of the old masters Her subjects are the people of Nimbin. Michelle moved to Nimbin wanting a “tree-change" due to health issues. She is the only person I have met who has designed their home around a kitchen and larder. Born in a Baker's family her passion for cooking was instilled in her at an early age, when her mother taught her to cook at age 10.
