An exploration of place and permanence of our constructed worlds within the ever-resilient natural realm. Monolithic concrete columns take on nature-inspired form, cast into individually ‘grown’ organic moulds. Pillars of construction lifted proud and hollowed by delicate yet unyielding natural forms, flora growth humbling seemingly impervious built structures.
With a rich background in architecture, art and design, husband and wife duo Andrew Costa and Suzy Syme share a passion for crafting sculptures exploring relationships between built and natural landscapes.
