SDRC streetscape design consultations this week

We need your ideas!

Southern Downs Regional Council invites you to discuss ideas for improving the main street of Stanthorpe. Council have set aside funds to improve the amenity, vibrancy and character of the main street in accordance with the adopted Masterplan.

Council have engaged John Mongard Landscape Architects to consult with local residents, groups and traders and then to design the improvements. They will be engaging with people from Wednesday April 20th to Saturday April 23rd.

Open days: We invite you to drop into the former Pure Heaven shop, at 33 Maryland Street for one to one discussions:

From Friday 22nd : 10 am to 3pm and Saturday 23rd: 10am to 12pm

Traders morning meeting: Traders and owners welcome to discuss ideas at the shop:

On Thursday 21st: 7.30 am to 8.30 am

Artist and craftspeople : people interested in public art and interpretation

The Consultants will also engage with local artists, craftspeople, environment groups and the high schools to develop ideas during their visit.
