Armidale artist Judy Wilford, aged 81, died on Sunday 11th December. Judy was a remarkably talented artist whose work encompassed clay object making, design, drawing, print-making, textiles (particularly hand embroidery), painting and writing. Her work is held in diplomatic, corporate and private collections in Australia and internationally. She has written three engaging books, the third of which has yet to be launched. Fortunately, however, she did manage to hold a copy of her latest work.

Judy was a person of huge personality and will be remembered fondly by everyone who had the good fortune to know her.
