The Winter School Music Program is held every winter in Tenterfield, and is hosted by the Cuskelly College of Music. As part of their program they host concerts every evening during the Winter School. The Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery is happy to host the Beat of the Bush concert on Tuesday 4 July.
Sally Wilson (Soprano) and Dr Mark Kruger(Piano) present a selection from the vocal repertoire. They will be joined by nationally acclaimed trumpeter Phil Ryan in a rendition of Handel’s “Let the bright Seraphim’. Outstanding cellist Evalyn Legried will also be accompanied by Dr Kruger playing Rachmaninoff and de Falla.

Director of the Cuskelly College of Music, Dr James Cuskelly OAM invites you to be part of the 2023 Winter School Music Program. Featuring highly experienced Australian music educators, courses are offered for teachers in Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary classroom music specialists. Special programs are available for primary, (years 8-13), secondary (years 12-18) and tertiary students.
Interested members of the public are also welcome to attend the Community Access Programs which include musicianship, choir, instrumental masterclasses, songwriting, theory and performance.
Assisting Dr James Cuskelly OAM, course lecturers include professional musicians, performers, songwriters and conductors from across Australia.
