Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery is delighted to invite members of the community to a talk by Terry Deen, Head of Learning at QAGOMA about the current exciting travelling exhibition- Asian Pacific Triennial (APT) Contemporary: three decades of APT.
Whether you’ve come in to the gallery see the exhibition and wanted to know more about these striking works, or haven’t yet been in, come and hear Terry talk about the works and their significance for art and community.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions and share your thoughts about the artworks selected by QAGOMA for display in our gallery.

Terry Deen
Terry Deen is the Head of Learning at the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA). The Gallery is working towards opening a dedicated All-Ages Learning Centre based at the Queensland Art Gallery.
Before joining QAGOMA, he built his professional skillset through ten years' experience as a secondary art and design teacher. He is engaged in Queensland’s design education community as the 2014 Queensland-Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt Design Education Fellow.
Terry’s current role involves engagement across a broad array of communities, disciplines and practices including arts learning, cultural learning and digital learning. He is passionate about the role of arts advocacy and research as catalysts for advancing creativity and wellbeing for Queenslanders.
