Local artists who would like to submit works for this exhibition

Conditions
2 works maximum per artist
Cost $10 per work
Artists must reside in the Southern Downs or Tenterfield council regions or within 100km of the Stanthorpe Post Office and a have valid postal address to confirm this. All work must be your own.
Artworks and completed forms can be delivered to the Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery on the 11, 12, 13 14, February from 8.30-4.30 pm or on Sat 15 from 10-1pm with the entry fee.
There is no preselection - The Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery will endeavour to hang all artworks submitted. However, due to space restrictions, we cannot guarantee that all works will be exhibited. Artworks will be selected at the discretion of the gallery director and no dialogue will be entered into. If your work cannot be hung it must be collected by 20 February and your entry fee will be refunded.
Artworks that are submitted after these dates or without the attached form will not be eligible for exhibition.
We cannot accept artworks that are greater than 4 meters in perimeter or weigh more than 15kgs.

All artworks must be for sale. The gallery charges a 25% commission on artworks. If you are unsure about the correct pricing for your artwork please feel free to talk to us before the exhibition.
So that we can hang your works correctly, PLEASE ENSURE THAT THEY ARE FITTED WITH THE CORRECT D RINGS. If you are unsure about what D rings to use please ask us. We cannot accept artworks that are not fit to hang. Artworks need to be adequately protected for delivery either with bubble wrap or an equally effective protective packaging.
Labelling of artworks - When you are delivering your works please ensure they are clearly marked on the back with the artist’s name and the title of the work. Artworks that arrive damaged will not be exhibited.
Copyright - The Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery reserves the right to photograph any work submitted for the purposes of documentation, education and advertising. Please note that visitors will also be allowed to take photographs during the exhibition period.
Exhibition Dates - The exhibition will encompass the entire floor space of the Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery and will be held on the 20 February to the 5 April 2020 Opening night is Friday 21 February at 6pm and you are welcome to attend.
All artworks are covered by the gallery’s insurance during the exhibition dates. Insurance for the transport and delivery to and from the gallery are the artist’s responsibility.
Collection of unsold artworks - All unsold artworks must be collected on Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 April before 5pm. It is extremely important that works are collected before then as we have another exhibition to install and do not have the space to hold artworks. If you think you may not be able to collect your work on that day then please contact us as soon as possible. All artworks will be returned in the packaging in which they were submitted.
