2022 Local Art Prize Winners Announced

Tonight we announced the winners of the 2022 Local Art Prize, featuring diverse art from the region surrounding Stanthorpe. This year we had 94 entries, the highest ever.

In 2022 we have a total of $5000 in prizes across nine categories.

Due to COVID-19 we were unable to have a regular opening night, but we invited prizewinners to meet the judges and accept their awards this evening.

Judges Dr Julie Fragar from Griffith University and local artist Cheryl Moggs OAM were impressed with the quality of the works.

Congratulations to all the entrants and the winners in this year’s exhibition.

The Local Art Prize: Creative Stanthorpe exhibition runs until Sunday 6 March.
